1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data when you use BEST:

• Email Address: Used for authentication and account management.
• User ID: A unique identifier assigned to your account.
• Display name: A non-unique name that you can choose.
• Product Interaction Data: We store user-generated data: tracked item names, ratings and notes. Tracked item names and notes are encrypted. Renumia admins do not have the means to decrypt this information. Your private encryption key is stored securely in the iCloud Keychain. We also store end-to-end encrypted tracked item names and notes between users who have agreed to share those with each other. Renumia admins do not have the means to decrypt this information which can only be decrypted using the private key of either user .
• Purchase Data: If you make an in-app purchases, we do not store any transaction details except the outcome of extending access to the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Authenticate and manage your account.
• Sync and store user-generated content.
• Share user-generated content with other users whom you have selected to share specific content with.
• Ensure security and prevent unauthorized access.

3. Data Storage & Third-Party Services

Your data is securely stored in Google Firebase and managed under strict security guidelines. The following third-party services help us operate the app:

• Firebase Authentication: For user login and authentication.
• Cloud Firestore: For storing user-generated content.
• In-App Purchases: Managed via Apple’s App Store or Google's Play Store.

4. Data Sharing & Tracking

We do not share or sell user data with third-party advertisers.

We do not track users across third-party apps or websites.

5. User Control & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time via the app.
